Do you want to spend less on your energy bills?
South Rings Energy – dedicated to securing government funding for homeowners.
The ECO4 scheme is an ongoing scheme that has been set up by the UK government in a bid to combat climate change.
ECO
ECO stands for Energy Company Obligation and basically outlines strict targets from the government, placed on the largest fuel suppliers.
The aims of the ECO4 scheme are to -
- Cut energy bills for the consumer
- to reduce the carbon footprint
- to combat fuel poverty across the UK.
This has resulted in the development of home improvement grants for energy funding. These grants are a lifeline to many and mean that people can implement energy efficiency measures in homes across the UK.
Depending upon your home and your benefit status, this may mean that you could be entitled to a grant towards the cost of a new A-rated boiler or insulation to keep your home warm under the energy grant scheme.
As part of the government Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme, if you receive a qualifying benefit and your boiler has an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rating of D, E, F, or G you may be entitled to a home improvement grant towards a brand new A-rated boiler. The home improvement grants are funded by UK energy companies and don’t need to be repaid. Even if you are not the recipient of the benefits mentioned below you may still be eligible for other government funding such as a Green Homes Grant so don’t delay.
Do you receive one of the following benefits?
- Child Tax Credit (CTC)
- Housing Benefit
- Income-based job seekers allowance (JSA)
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Income Support (IS)
- Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
- Pension Credit Savings Credit
- Universal Credit (UC)
- Working Tax Credit (WTC)
If you receive one of these benefits you may qualify for free energy efficiency measures for your home.
