What Is the LEAP Boiler Scheme?
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme helps homeowners reduce the cost of modern, energy-efficient heating. The UK Government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme offers grants of up to £7,500 towards installing air source or ground source heat pumps, and £5,000 towards biomass heating systems.
It’s designed specifically for homeowners using gas central heating as their main heating source. The scheme covers boiler repairs or replacements, but does not include radiators, pipework, or power flushing unless technically required.
